The Bees
When people ask me if I have any pets, I like to say I have two cats and about 30,000 bees. I never thought I would be a bug person, but here we are.

I started to become interested in bees a few years ago when my flight was grounded in Colorado due to a snow storm. The airport was shuttling a group of stranded passengers to a hotel, and I was seated next to a woman from Maine. She told me all about her bees.
Several years later, I found myself being spoon-fed bee content on my Instagram when I finally thought, “I bet I could take care of bees.” So, that’s what I did. I purchased a book on beekeeping, joined a few bee groups online, and got myself a hive and some bees.
I have learned so much over the past year as a novice beekeeper, and I love sharing videos and photos of my hives. Bees are fascinating little creatures, and I think you will feel the same after checking out some of the bee content I post.
